Why Buy From Us
I will tell you what the 2424 is not before I tell you what it is. This is the smallest Luminato, and as a small garden room it gives you 5.7m² of floor behind a single 85cm door. A desk, a chair and a bookcase go in comfortably. A three-piece suite does not.
What surprises people is the light. Two windows run almost the full height of the wall, and in a room this size that is the difference between a working room and a cupboard.
Where I would be straight with you: at 238cm square, this suits one person working, one person training, or one very tidy hobby. If two of you will use it at once, look at the 3030 instead and save yourself the regret.
It earns its place when your garden is small, your budget is real, and you want a building you will never treat, stain or repaint.
Telluria build in steel and nothing else, from European mill stock through to finished kit. That single focus is why the range carries a 20-year warranty. We are an authorised UK dealer for over 20 leading manufacturers, so your warranty and factory support are real rather than a grey-import gamble.

For one person, comfortably. You get 210cm x 210cm of clear internal floor, which takes a 140cm desk along one wall with a chair behind it and shelving on the return.
The honest limit is two people. Put a second desk in and you lose the walking space, and the room starts to feel like the inside of a lift. If that is your plan, the 3030 adds 3.2m² for a little over a thousand pounds more.
The door opening is 85cm x 196cm. A flat-pack desk, a dining chair, a filing cabinet and a bike all pass through without argument. A made-up sofa or a large corner desk will not.
Measure the widest thing you intend to keep in there before you order. If it will not fit, the double-door sizes further up the range solve it, and it is a cheaper conversation now than after delivery.
Flat, level and at least as large as the building. Telluria give a footprint of 258cm x 258cm once the overhanging eaves are counted, so take your base out to that and your walls stay out of standing water.
Concrete, paving or a purpose-built ground frame all work provided the surface is true. Your kit includes its own floor frame and anchor bolts, so it fixes down to whatever you have prepared. Budget properly for this part, because it is the one job the kit does not do for you.
Not as it ships, and no honest supplier will tell you otherwise. The roof panel is insulated to 4cm and the underside is finished white rather than left as bare steel, which deals with the ceiling.
The walls are the part you choose. Add the inside wall package and the floor and wall insulation at checkout, then heat it like any other room in your house. A 2kW panel heater handles 5.7m² easily once it is lined.
Yes, and most people do. Telluria supply an electricity kit for the building as an option at checkout.
The supply from your house out to the garden is separate work and must be carried out by a qualified electrician to current UK wiring regulations. Ask your electrician about that before you order, because access and trench length vary enormously from garden to garden.
It depends on your plot rather than on the building. The two figures your local planning authority will want are the height, 219cm, and the footprint, 238cm x 238cm.
At under 2.5m tall this size sits inside the height limit that matters most within two metres of a boundary, which is where small gardens usually run into trouble. Check your own case on the Planning Portal and with your council before you order. Rules differ across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
All four Luminato sizes share the same steel, the same roof panel and the same 20-year warranty. Only the footprint changes.
The 2424 is the entry point at 5.7m². The Luminato 3030 gives you 8.9m² and double doors, and the Luminato 3930 stretches to 11.6m² for a desk and a seating area.
The Luminato 5436 Plus is the big one at 19.3m² with a 265cm ceiling. Browse the full garden rooms collection if you are still weighing it up.
Timber is warmer to touch, easier to cut into and cheaper on day one. It also wants treating, it moves with the seasons, and it gives you a shorter life outdoors.
Steel asks nothing of you once it is standing. No stain, no sanding, no weekend lost to it every spring, and a 20-year warranty behind the coating. If maintaining a building is part of the appeal, buy timber. If you want to use the room and forget it exists, this is the better bet.
Your 2424 arrives as a kit on a pallet. Access matters more than people expect, so tell us about narrow side returns, steps and gated alleys when you order and we will tell you what is realistic.
If building it yourself does not appeal, add the installation service at checkout and our fitters will assemble it on your prepared base. Flooring and insulation can go in at the same visit, which is the sensible moment to do it.
The cover is a corrosion warranty on the galvanised steel, which is the thing that decides how long a metal building actually lasts. It is not an accidental-damage policy.
Look after the coating, wash it down occasionally as you would your car, and it will outlast most of what else is in your garden.
Talk to us before you order rather than after. We will go through your footprint, your base, which side you want the windows and whether the installation service is worth it for your access. Call 0330 043 4643, email info@outerluxury.co.uk, or message us on WhatsApp, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm.
