Metal Garages

A metal garage is not a big shed. It holds a vehicle worth more than the building, it gets driven in and out of every day, and it has to deal with a wet car parked inside it all winter. That last part is where cheap steel garages come undone.

Every garage here is built from double-walled steel with an insulating cavity between the inner and outer skin, under an insulated sandwich-panel roof. A single-skin garage goes cold, your car's own moisture condenses on the inside of the metal, and it drips back down onto your paintwork. The cavity is what stops that.

The other number worth knowing is width. Most budget garages are ten feet wide, which leaves you about 2.8m inside and a car door you can only half open. Ours are 3.30m internally, so you can open the door properly and walk down the side of the car.

All of them come with an electric door, a fixed double-glazed window, a ventilation grille, an integrated gutter and a 20-year corrosion warranty on 275g/m² hot-dip galvanised European steel. Every one is made in Belgium.
