Does PortaSauna release any chemicals?

No! The PortaSauna HEX is built with safety and air quality in mind.

What stops the PortaSauna from blowing over in the wind?

The PortaSauna HEX has a double-skirt design for added stability. In windy conditions, we recommend anchoring it with sandbags, bricks, or cinder blocks. Ground stakes and ropes are also included for extra reinforcement.

Can you leave PortaSauna outdoors permanently?

Yes, but we recommend using the included waterproof cover for protection. If left outside long-term, extreme weather conditions may affect durability. Storing it indoors when not in use will prolong its lifespan.

Does PortaSauna require cleaning?

Minimal maintenance is needed! Moisture naturally evaporates due to the high heat. Simply empty the ash tray and clean the chimney every 3-4 uses to maintain airflow.

Tips for operating the stove?

• Keep the air vent fully open for proper airflow.
• Start with fire starter squares and dry hardwood (30-40 cm logs).
• Close the stove door for 15 minutes before adding more wood.
• Adjust airflow and wood supply to control heat levels.

What kind of weather is not suitable?
